Radio Imaging Technician (RIT) Course

The Radiology Technician Course is a two-year program that awards a registered diploma upon completion. With this diploma, students can become Radiology Technologists who are capable of conducting radiological X-rays of the entire human body. Additionally, the Radiology Technician can assist the radiologist in performing various radiological procedures using contrast media.

The Programs provided are: –

Advance Diploma in Radio Imaging Technician 2 Years 10+2 pass-out

Upon obtaining this diploma, the technologist can also operate CT scan and MRI imaging modalities, enabling them to perform diagnoses with their assistance. Furthermore, individuals who have obtained the diploma can pursue further studies by completing a bachelor's degree. Technologists play a crucial role in the radiology department, as they are responsible for conducting diagnostic procedures and providing patient care. Moreover, X-Ray Technicians are also qualified to perform imaging examinations of the female mammary glands, commonly known as Mammography.

In addition to the Radiology Technician Course, there is also a certificate course available for X-Ray Technicians. Upon completion of this course, technicians are proficient in performing X-ray positioning of the human body and mammography procedures. This certificate course can be pursued after obtaining a 10th class passed certificate, and there is no requirement for a 12th class passed certificate to enroll in this course.
